Dewey's Read-A-Thon

I just signed up for the 24h long Dewey's Read-A-Thon that starts tomorrow, on 27th April. I signed up this late because I wasn't sure what I'll be doing tomorrow, but it's a work-free day + I got sick so my plans for tonight's clubbing fell apart. Right now I'm not sure for how long I'll participate. If I'll go for full 24 hours or less.

As for the books I'll be reading. Hm. I have to finish Lover Mine by J.R. Ward, then novella Elixir by Jennifer L. Armentrout and this is how far I got. I'll be editing this post and tweet all the way through the read-a-thon, so I'll keep you posted. ^^ Did any of you sign up too? What books do you plan to read tomorrow?

Update #1
I'm finally managed to settle on a pile of books, though I'm not sure if these ones will be actually while I read. It's hard for me to plan my reading, but I'll try it this time, I guess. I might throw in some short stories from my tablet too to spice it up. It all starts in a little less than 6 hours and I'm already bursting from excitement. Wooo!

Introductory Questionnaire

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today? That would be Ljubljana, Slovenia.
2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to? Finishing Lover Mine by J.R. Ward and also The Madman's Daughter.
3) Which snack are you most looking forward to? There's lunch coming up in the next few minutes and it'll be yummy, then some strawberries with cream, some healthy cookies with different kinds of nuts, bananas and honey. And finally in the evening comes a special Chinese soup. That will warm me up indeed.
4) Tell us a little something about yourself! I like turtles and owls.
5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to? This is my first one. It's a challenge for me because I often start to get sleepy while reading in the evenings so I hope to go on for as long as I came. I'm putting life on a shelve for the next 24 hours. ^^

Hour 2 Mini-Challenge: Book Spine Poetry!

Hour 4 Mini-Challenge: Re-title Your Current Book
I would re-title Lover Mine to ''Bonded Males go Coo-Coo''.

Okay, so unfortunately the rest of the read-a-thon didn't go exactly as planned. I'm a really slow reader these past few weeks, but I managed to finish the novella Elixir by Jennifer L. Armentrout and I've read more than 200 pages of Lover Mine. It's no great, it's nowhere near my goals, but I'm not giving up. I'll be participating again in October and that time around I'll be beyond prepared and will definitely go for the full 24 hours. See you then!
